Daily Bible Verse July 18, 2026 – Meaning, Prayer & Life Application
Bible Verse of the Day Romans 1:11 (NIV)
“I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong.”
Meaning of Romans 1:11
In this verse, the Apostle Paul expresses his heartfelt desire to visit the believers in Rome. His purpose was not merely to fellowship with them but to strengthen and encourage them through the gifts and grace God had given him.
Romans 1:11 reminds us that Christianity is not meant to be lived in isolation. God places people in our lives—pastors, mentors, friends, and fellow believers—to encourage, strengthen, and help us grow spiritually. It also teaches us that every believer has something valuable to impart through prayer, encouragement, kindness, and service.
Today, God wants to strengthen you. Whatever challenges you are facing, He has not left you alone. He will send the right people, opportunities, and divine connections to equip you for the season ahead.
Life Application
Ask yourself:
Am I allowing God to use others to strengthen my faith?
How can I encourage someone spiritually today?
Am I using the gifts God has given me to bless others?
Make it a habit to pray for others, speak words of encouragement, and remain connected to a Bible-believing community. Your obedience may be the answer to someone else’s prayer.
Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for the people You have placed in my life to strengthen and encourage me. Help me to use the gifts You have given me for Your glory and for the benefit of others. Lord, send divine helpers and godly relationships into my life, and make me a source of encouragement to those around me. Strengthen my faith and empower me to fulfill Your purpose each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
